OIC endorses legal action against Myanmar at ICJ Gambia led the process that included a long series of negotiations The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has unanimously adopted a resolution to move the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to establish legal rights of the Rohingyas and addressing the question of accountability and justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement on Monday. The resolution, which the ministry termed “a major diplomatic breakthrough,” was adopted in Abu Dhabi in the final session of the 46th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, to pursue a legal recourse through the ICJ. It came after a long series of negotiations seeking accountability for crimes committed against humanity and gross violation of human rights in the case of the Rohingyas in Myanmar, the press statement said. চিন্তা চিন্তা আর চিন্তা চিন্তার দৌড়ের কোন টার্মিনাল নেই। চিন্তাশক্তি যেমন কার্যসিদ্ধির ক্ষেত্রে দারুণ ভূমিকা রাখে তেমনি একজন মানুষের ব্যক্তিত্ব গঠনেও সহায়ক ভূমিকা পালন করে। চিন্তাই মানুষের রাহবর তথা পথপ্রদর্শক। চিন্তাই পারে বর্তমান হান্দাসাতুল জাহেলিয়াহ থেকে ডাইবার্ট করে উন্নত এবং সভ্য চিন্তার অধিকারী করে গড়ে তুলতে। চিন্তাই পারে অনৈতিকতার এই শৃঙ্খল ঠেলে নৈতিকতার উত্থান ঘটাতে। চিন্তার সীমাবদ্ধতা বা অনগ্রসরতা ক্রমশ একটা জাতির অধপতনের অনেক বড় একটি কারণ। চিন্তার দৌড়ে যারা বেগবান তারাই আজ বিশ্বের রোল মডেল। চিন্তার রেশ অন্য যেকোনো বিষয় থেকে অনেক বেশি স্থায়িত্বশীল। চিন্তার ছিটেফোঁটাও পরিবর্তনের ক্ষুদ্র উপাদান। মানুষের চলাফেরা,কথা,আচারব্যবহারের মাঝেই চিন্তার রিফ্লেকশন পরিষ্কারভাবে পরিলক্ষিত হয়। যার চিন্তার পরিধি যত বিস্তৃত সে ততবেশি বড় এবং উন্নত। © Fazle Elahi elahiidu@gmail.com
